Cut-to-size glass is custom-made for specific uses. Clear glass comes in various thicknesses for general applications. Laminated glass offers safety and soundproofing, while textured and sandblasted glass provide privacy. Tinted glass reduces glare, and fire-resistant glass prevents fire spread. Toughened glass enhances safety, and greenhouse glass supports plant growth.
Sealants, putty, and tools are essential for glazing and maintenance. Multi-purpose putty and silicone sealants provide durable, weather-resistant bonding, while Flexistrip seals gaps. Mirror screws and adhesives secure mirrors, and foam tapes offer easy sealing. Tools like glass lifters, skeleton guns, and cleaning supplies help with safe installation and maintenance.
Processing work includes shaping glass into custom forms, polishing edges for a smooth finish, and beveling edges for a decorative touch. Drilling holes in glass allows for fixtures or design elements. Safety backing for mirrors adds protection, preventing shattering and enhancing durability, making glass safer and more functional.
Replacement mirrors come in 4mm and 6mm thicknesses, with options for standard, bronze, or grey tint. Antique mirror effects include light, bronze, and grey finishes. Custom sizing, clean cuts, or polished edges are available. Additional features include bevelled edges (6mm to 35mm), drilled holes, safety backing, and sandblasted designs.
Pilkington Glass provides patterned glass to enhance privacy and style, available in standard or toughened safety glass. With five privacy levels (1-5), it comes in 4mm and 6mm thicknesses, depending on the pattern. Toughened safety glass typically takes 3-4 working days to process from order placement.
